This awesome unit was just completed. It stands 44 inches in height and 24 inches in diameter. The stand is solid Honduras mahogany and custom made for this armillary sphere. This is absolutely a "one a kind" unit that is museum quality. The cage of rings in mounted on precision miniature bearings that allow it to rotate effortlessly. The central sphere is a large quartz crystal that will produce a rainbow of colors when natural light passes through it. Other mineral sphere types and colors are an option.
